Our last day of driving was a long one. We only made one photo-op stop along the way, at the Buffalo Bill bronze sculpture in Oakley, KS. This is a twice size sculpture, standing 16 feet tall and weighing 9,000 pounds. It sits high on a bluff and is pretty impressive! They also have a small exhibit in the welcome center.

The winds we experienced last night are proof that this is good wind power territory. The wind turbines went on and on and on. And we passed more blades being brought in. Look closely and you can see all of the turbines in the distance.

These state are BIG and the roads are straight. I love the GPS directions – turn right in 388 miles.😁

We made it to Boulder! The Scamp is tucked in for the week while we do some local exploring and relaxing with Kat and Paul.
